Footnote: The first layer two protocol on Handshake is an ephemeral storage layer. Built by Kyokan—the creators of Bob Wallet—Footnote stores, synchronizes, and addresses small amounts of data for your Handshake name. Its purpose is to create a global, decentralized, and permission-less data commons. And that lets us do things like this ↴
Nomad: The first Footnote testnet app is a decentralized social network anchored on Handshake names. Your HNS name is used to sign in and acts as your Nomad handle. The app uses the Footnote protocol to store your bio / likes / posts while using Sia Skynet to store profile pictures and other media. Handshake is beginning to act as a sort of universal login system for names and identities we actually own. Find The Shake on Nomad at nmd.co/users/theshake
Puma Browser: The privacy-centric mobile browser has added native HNS support, available on iOS and Android. It’s getting increasingly easier to access Handshake domains on both desktop and mobile.
Sentinel dVPN: A decentralized VPN built on Cosmos added Handshake name resolver support. Sentinel aims to offer users secure access to HNS domains and the decentralized web.
